楡林窟の石窟の多くは、唐の時代に建造され、五代・宋・西夏・元時代に続けて建造と修復が行われてきた。ある部分の内容と芸術性は、莫高窟にも見られない。 / The Yulin Grottoes, most of them were built and renovated in the Five Dynasties, Song, Western Xia and Yuan.Some contents and artistic merits of the Yulinku murals are without the Mogao Grottoes reach.
