阿西河の対岸にある阿西城堡。断崖は40メートルの高さがあり、攻めにくく守りやすい城塞という。危険で河を渡れなかった。阿西城堡はウイグル名を"Chokturosh-kurghan"といい、Chokturoshという于闐の将軍がカラハン朝のイマームと戦った場所であるという言い伝えがある。上流には"Nokhturosh-kurghan"という城塞もあり、ChokturoshとNokhturoshは兄弟であったという。
