Description Account of the fourth and the last expedition (January 1913-February 1914) of German expeditions to Central Asia. In this expedition, they investigated mainly in Kucha (Cave Temples of Kizil, Subasi, and Sim Sim) and Tumshuk. It includes descriptions on their expedition as well as a number of photographs of the local people. Le Coq, the author, attended all the three expeditions except the first one amongst the four German Turfan Expeditions, and published the records of them. This book is an important record to grasp the outline of German Expeditions, together with Excavation of the hidden treasures in Central Asia, which gives the account of the second ant the third expeditions.
