N. v. 12. Wedge-shaped tablet, roughly shaped. Obv.
5 1I. Khar. in columns; faded towards point. Rev. 3 II. in columns, much faded. 7k" x r i ". Well-preserved but discoloured.
N. v. 13. Oblong tablet, much discoloured. Obv. Hole at R. p. top corner. Several 11. Khar. lost in dark stains, but appear to be in columns. Rev. 6 II. of well written characters visible towards R. p. end; much faded and fragmentary. r 51" x 4" x 1". Wood well-preserved.
N. v. 14. Club-shaped tablet, flat ; hole at narrow end. Obv. 3 II. Khar., in columns ; indistinct. Rev. blank.

mentary; very indistinct. Rev. Traces of 2 11. Khar.

N. vi. N. vi. T. Wedge under-tablet. Hole near point. Obv. 4 Il. Khar., very cursive and clear, with initial form. Rev. r line from sq. end. 9" x .. Well-preserved.
N. vi. 2. Rectang. cov.-tablet (?). Obv. bleached. In centre of each side a notch as though to receive string. At lower L. p. corner a small hole, in which is frag. of string. Rev. 11. Khar., clear, fairly well written. 4$" x Xi" x r. Well-preserved, but bleached.
N. vi. 3. Rectang. cov: tablet. Obv. Seal cay. 11" x Ir. 2 11. Khar., very faded, transversely 'above seal
cay. Rev. 3 II. Khar., cursive, faded. 4 " x 3" x I".
Hard, well-preserved.
N. vi. 4. Wedge-shaped tablet. Apparently hole near point (broken). Obv. 3 11. Khar., very cursive ; consisting apparently of a number of disconnected items, separated by vert. down strokes. Rev. 3 I1., much faded, coarse, and very cursive. 71"x IT". Rather perished ; very susceptible to damp.
N. vi. 5. Wedge cov.-tablet. Hole near point. Obv. Seal cay. if' from sq. end. Much encrusted with sand.
No inscription visible. Rev. 2 (?) Il. Khar., illegible.

N. vi. 6. Rectang. under-tablet, raised ends, â" and r.
Obv. 4 Il. Khar., well written, cursive. Rev. blank.
6$" x 2. ". Well-preserved, but writing rather faded.

N. vi. 8. Wedge cov.-tablet, with point end cut off; appears to have been adapted for use in manner of rectang. cov.-tabs. Obv. Seal cay. râ" from sq. end. Clay remains; no device. Rev. 3 11. Khar., much faded, very cursive. 6" x 2g" x ". Well-preserved.
N. vi. 9. Rectang. cov.-tablet, fragment. Both sides blank. Broken at two edges. 4" x 4". Very soft.
N. vi. ro. Wedge under-tablet, hole near point. Obv. 4 II. Khar. cursive, ` condensed,' with initial form. Rev. 11. from sq. end. rot" x .r. Well-preserved. Hard.
N. vi. u. Rectang. under-tablet, fragment. Raised end, 1*". Obv. 2 11. Khar., very cursive and coarse. Rev. blank. 7i" 2k". Wood well-preserved, but broken.
N. vi. 12. Oblong tablet. Obv. 3 11. Khar., columnar ; very black and clear. Rev. blank. 5." x 8". Well-preserved. Traces of Sindura (?) at one end. See Pl. CII.
N. vi. '3. Wedge cov.-tablet ; hole near point ; roughly made. Obv. Seal cay. 2r from sq. end. r I. Khar. on both sides of seal cay. Very cursive and coarsely written. Usual char. at hole. Rev. r 1. Khar., very cursive. r 3â" X Ii" x r. Well-preserved.
N. vi. 4. Wedge cov.-tablet ; hole near point. Obv. 2â" from sq. end. Seal cay. (small). Between sq. end and seal cay. r 1. Khar. Few characters on opposite of cay. Rev. 11. Khar. in which figures seem to occur. Well and clearly written. r 41" x 2i" x". Well-preserved. Pink stain at point end.
