(Gnari Khôrsum).

A secondary route, passable for horses. Maps : Strachey's Kämâon and Gärhvâl, and his map to illustrate the journey to Râkus Tal.

Yirkha, 5'/2 hours' march from Garbia—Cross the Lipu Lekh pass (long ascent, but not steep).

A Ningri—Nami—Taklakhar. 0 Dzcmar.

A Ldgan Tzinkan, 30° 29'; 81° 10', on the southern shore of the Rails Tal lake (height of the lake ab. 15,250 ft.)

From GARBIA (Kämâon) to KÛNTI (Kämâon).
A principal route, passable for horses.

G k r b i a , 30° 7'; 80° 48'; 10,272 ft., near the left bank of the Kali river — Continue along the Kali river (road bad) — Cross the Hangchu river— Talakr va, a small hamlet — Cross the Kali river by a sangha-bridge(150 yards above its-confluence with the Konti-Yankti river)—Gnngi —Nabhi (2 miles from Güngi).

Mdngdany (11,750 ft.), 2 miles from NabhiCross the Näl Yankti river (Kiinti valley now contracts)—Cross a snow-bed—Cross the Nampa river (the valley opens again).

Kzinti, 30° 18'; 80° 38'; ab. 13,000 ft., near the left bank of the Kali river. This place is inhabited in summer only, and even then not regularly.
