|Japanese photographer from Okayama Prefecture. Yamamoto started a photo studio in Shibahikage-cho (near present day Shimbashi Station) in Tokyo in 1882 (the 15th year of Meiji Era). He later moved to Beijing and opened a photo studio (Yamamoto Shōzō Kan). He published a collection of photographs of Beijing taken during the last years of Qing Dynasty.|
