kommt auch bei Lo-ping vor. Schellwien hat das eine kleine, mit abgesplitterter
Schale erhaltene Exemplar in die Verwandtschaft der deutschen Art gestellt
(„aff. pelargonatus"); ich möchte das kleine Stück ohne weiteres für ident mit
Str. pelargonatus halten, um so mehr, als das Bruchstück eines größeren, mit
Schalenoberfläche erhaltenen Exemplars vollkommen mit einem indischen Stück
(von Jabbi) übereinstimmt.
Bei Letzterem ist besonders bezeichnend die gleichmässige Wölbung von
Stiel- und Brachialklappe. Bei Derbyia und Orthothetes sind die Wölbungs-
verhältnisse durchaus verschieden.
Vorkommen: 3 Exemplare von Lo-ping; ausserdem im mittleren Productus-
kalk (Zone des Xenodiscus carbonarius) und im europäischen Zechstein.

Schnabel spitz und wenig gebogen.
Schalenbreite gering.

Form der Schale und Anwachsrippen regelmässig;
Schnabel spitz und gerade;
Schalenbreite bedeutender (fast doppelt so gross) als bei O. Kayseri.
Von Lo-ping liegt nur ein Exemplar, von Tscheharbag (Nordpersien) zahl-
reichere Vergleichsstücke vor; ich halte das eine Stück von Lo-ping (Kays. t. XXIII,
f. 1) für ident mit Orth. persicus von Tschehar bag.
