خاطري ثمَّ كتب الى اهل البلاد ان ينتقلوا الى دهلى لبعمروها
فخربت بلادُهم ولم تعمر دهلى لاتِّساعها وعَظامتـها وفي من
اعظم مدن الدنيا وكذلك وجدناها لمَّا دخلنا البها خالية
ليس بها الَّا قليل عابرة وقد ذكرنا كثـيـرًا من مآثر هذا
السلطان وممَّا نُعم عليه ايضًا فلنذكرْ جُمَلًا من الوقائع والحوادث
الكائنة في أيامه،
ذكر ما افتتح به امره اوَّل ولايتـه من مَنِّه على بَهادور بُورَه
ولمَّا ولى السلطانُ المُلك بعد ابيه وبايعه الناس احضر السلطانُ
غياث الدين بهادور بوره الذى كان أسَّره السلطانُ تغلق فنَّ
عليه وفكَّ قيوده واجزل له العطاء من الاموال والكيل والـقبلة
DE LA GRÂCE QUE LE SULTAN, AU COMMENCEMENT DE SON EMPIRE,
ACCORDA À BÉHÀDOÙR BOÙRAH.
Lorsque le sultan fut investi du pouvoir, à la mort de
son père, et que les peuples lui eurent prêté le serment
d'obéissance, il fit venir le sultan Ghiyàth eddin Béhàdoùr
Boùrah, que le sultan Toghlok avait fait captif. Il lui par-
donna, brisa ses liens, lui fit de nombreux cadeaux en ar-
