basi virescenti, apice rubescenti excepto, obtusis vel acuminatis, calycis tubum super-
antibus. Calyx 7—8 mm. longa, tubo nervato, sparse pilosa, limbo albo, nervis atro-
rubentibus marginem scariosam attingentibus, integro vel sub-quinque lobato, mutico
vel brevissime mucronato.
*A. diapensioidi* Boiss. (præcipue var. *longifoliæ* O. Fedtschk.) arcte affine, sed
differt foliis duplo longioribus majoribusque, ramis robustioribus, calycis limbo albo
(nec rubello), bracteis pallidioribus, etc.
Eastern *Pamir*, Among mosses on Kara-kir, at the eastern shore of Little
Kara-kul, 3720 m., 16th July 1894 (flowering).
This species is near to *A. diapensioides*, but I think fairly distinct, and looks
much different from it.
*Statice aurea* L., Sp. pl. ed. 1 (1753) 276; (?) *S. Lacostei* Danguy, in Journ. de
Botan. (1908) 53.
Northern *Tibet*, Mandarlik, 3437 m. medio July 1900 (flowering).
To judge from the description *S. Lacostei* Danguy (l. c.) from Tegermanlik,
Karakorum, is only a form *S. aurea*.
*Geogr. area*: From S. E. Russia to Turkestan and Kansu.

Eastern *Pamir*, Mus-tagh-ata, between Kamper-kishlak and Yam-bulak-bashi,
4480 m., 4th Aug. 1894 (flowering nearly over).
The specimens belong to var. *α, sibirica* (Ledeb.) Pax (l. c.) with efarinose leaves.
*Geogr. area*: Pontic Mountains, Caucasus, Northern Persia, Turkestania to Altai
Mountains.
