folgesdes Fragment erhalten:
Das Land *Fu-lin* liegt im Westen vom Lande *Chan* (Sham = Syrien); es heißt auch *Ta Ch'in*.
Es ist sehr wahrscheinlich, daß Chia Tan die geographischen Ergebnisse dieses Reise-
werkes für seine Erdkarte verwertet hat; somit dürfen wir bei ihm auch die Notiz er-
warten: *Fu-lin*, das alte *Ta Ch'in*. Jedenfalls glauben wir nachgewiesen zu haben, daß sich
erst im 9. Jahrhundert diese Identifizierung in der chinesischen Literatur durchgesetzt hat.²
