the Jhilum river; the capital of Kashmír. As
far as
Barámúla by boat, along the Jhilum river; a
great many villages are passed, and if the
traveller prefers going by land, he will find
no difficulty in encamping wherever he pleases
— Cross the Jhilum river, and continue along
its left bank — Shéri — Cross a small river —
Kichiháma — Gantamúlla — Cross a small river.
