Ming, ling, 31° 27'; 79° 32', on the left bank of the S,tlej river (level of the river 12,369 ft.)—Cross the Sàtlej river by a bridge — Ascent — Continue along the plateau-like surface of the Shtlej valley.

Encamp at the south-westérn foot of the Chdko La pass (16,197 ft.).

(Gnâri Khôrsum).
A secondary route, passable for horses.

T ô l i ng, 31° 27'; 79° 32', near the left bank of the Sutlej river (level of the river 12,369 ft.)—Cross the SAtlej river by a bridge (in Sept. and Oct. it is even fordable)—A, Sângdar—pSârka Sûmdo—Tzbung—B6 (13,417 ft.).
Ki 6 m — Cross the Bôko La pass 1 (ab. 18,450 ft.).
0 Ticgclo. From here to Gârtok the road is almost level—p Shingu—p Kanghé—Cross the Indus river (fordable).
