substitué la mode des frises à l'antique, c'est ce que la comparaison
des jâtaka postérieurs à celui de Dîpaṅkara et communs aux deux
écoles va nous permettre aussitôt de vérifier. Le premier, et aussi
le plus complet, est celui où le Bodhisattva était né sous la forme
d'un jeune anachorète du nom de Çyâma (¹) (« le brun », pâli : Sâma).
