NORTH KURGAN.

March 26, 1904:

I. 2 carnelian beads, r blue-white bead, 2 pendants, found together, terrace I, near. the skeletons that lay south of the cross wall, 30 to 31.5 ft.

  1. Copper fragment, from refuse in bottom of Komorof's trench.

  2. Copper fragment, above terrace I, +31.5 ft.

  3. Fragment copper ring, terrace r, +31.5 ft.

  4. Spindle whorl in refuse.

March 28, 1904:

5a. Blue glazed potsherd, west pit in cut (in refuse).
