N. iv. 57. Oblong tablet. Sharp pointed by concave cuts; hole at point. Obv. 4 11. Khar., very cursive, faint and fragmentary. Rev. blank. z 43" x zg". Well-preserved.
N. iv. 58. Rectang. under-tablet (belongs to N. iv. 141). Obv. 611. Khar., very cursive ; clear. Rev. blank. 6" x z$". Very discoloured.
N. iv. 59. Oblong tablet. Round-pointed end; hole (broken). Obv. 4 11. Khar., very cursive, faint, in parts deleted. Rev. blank. 8A" x zr. Very soft ; discoloured.
N. iv. 6o. Oblong tablet. Hole in centre of one long
edge. Obv. 4 11. Khar., cursive, faded, but mostly
decipherable. Rev. blank. 6r x I". Well-preserved.
N. iv. 80. Double-wedge tablet, complete. Cov.-tablet. Obv. Seal cay. r f i" from sq. end. Seal I" x Ir. The device appears to be, in usual oval or vesica shape, surrounded by deep moulding, a slim, nude figure to R. p., probably an Eros, but much deleted. Outside vesica moulding, four spandril-shape corners, slightly impressed, and evidently forming part of the setting of the matrix seal. A few Khar. characters at sq. end, and a few on opposite side of seal cay. Usual formula at hole. All tolerably clear. Rev. 3 11. Khar., very cursive ; clear in places.
Under-tablet. Obv. 4 11. Khar., very cursive. Very clear in places. Rev. r I. Khar. Wood well-preserved, but very dark inside, and generally sand-encrusted. 8â" x z" x A" (cov: tab.), ice" (under-tab.).
N. iv. 8x. Wedge-shaped tablet. Hole near point. Obv. 3 11. Khar., cursive and clear. Rev. 2 11. Khar., cursive, faint, but decipherable. 9r" x z". Well-preserved ; very sensitive to damp.
N. iv. 82. Rectang. under-tablet. Obv. 5 11. Khar., very cursive, faint, and part deleted. Stains of Sindüra (?). Rev. blank ; stained. g$" x 3A". Warped and split by damp and exposure.
N. iv. 83. Rectang. cov.-tablet. Seal cay. Imo" sq. Obv. Traces of 3 11. Khar. transversely at L. p. edge. Rev. 11. Khar., clear but cursive. 6$" x 3r. Wood fairly hard. Slightly warped, split, and broken at ends; sand-encrusted.
N. iv. 84. Rectang. under-tablet, broken, part missing. Obv. 511. Khar., faded, very cursive. Rev. blank. I r" x 4". Surface much injured by exposure.
N. iv. 99. Stick-like tablet. Roughly pointed at one end ; broken. Obv. (flat). Khar. (?) characters ; irregular

Obv. Seal cay. I*" sq. ; frags. of string remaining and pieces of seal clay. r 1. Khar. at one end. Rev. 3 II. Khar. Sand adhering. 61." x 2 " x 4".
Under-tablet. Obv. 6 11. Khar., cursive, very indistinct in places. Rev. blank. 8A" 24" x i". Broken at lower L. corner. Split at R. end and along long edges. Wood very dry and soft.
N. iv. log. Stick-like tablet, cut to obtuse point at one end. Obv. 7 columns, 2 11. each, Khar., cursive, clear. Rev. 7 columns, Ist, 4 11., znd, 5th, and 6th, 3 11. each, 3rd, 4th, and 7th, 2 11. each. Khar., cursive. 258"x z", dim. to I$". Fairly preserved, rather soft, warped and slightly encrusted with sand. See Pl. CII.
N. iv. 104. Oblong tablet. Hole at small end near edge. Obv. 5 11. Khar., cursive, boldly written and clear. 1st 1. interrupted by 2 intervals. Rev. 2 11. Khar. ; similar writing to Obv. ; ist 1. in two portions. I xi" X 5A", dim. to xi". Well-preserved.
N. iv. 105. a, b. Wedge under-tablet, in z pieces. Hole near point. Obv. 4 11. Khar., very cursive, clear, and complete, with initial form. Rev. r 1. from sq. end. I z" x z ". Well-preserved ; slightly bored by insects.
N. iv. Io6. Rectang. under-tablet. Obv. 7 11. Khar., very coarse and cursive. Rev. blank. 91" x 3 ". Wood fairly hard. Much stained and encrusted with sand.
N. iv. Io7. Wedge under-tablet. Hole near point. Obv. 311. Khar., finely written but part deleted. Rev. blank. 8r" x IA". Wood well-preserved, but stained and sand-encrusted.
