Die japanische Expedition Otani hat dort 1902 oder 1903 ge-
arbeitet. Ein starkes Erdbeben soll sie vertrieben haben.
Auf die Angabe des Mirab hin ritt ich sofort mit Herrn Bartus
herüber. Wir überstiegen den niederen, aber schwierigen Paß und
fanden eine fabelhafte Siedlung von vielen hundert Tempeln in den
steilen Klippen eines Höhenzuges am Muzart.
Ein Grundbesitzer hatte dort ein kleines Lehmhäuschen errich-
