"The great road (to heaven)." The name refers to the celebrated temple of pilgrimage at Kidernath, and to the difficulty and danger attending the access to the same. The peak is more generally known by the name of Kidernath peak.

This is the name of the confluence of the LoAka and Girthi rivers. Compare Ddgsum. .Mike, we were told, is the name of a species of wild animals (which come here to drink), but we could not get it properly described. 'i'he dictionaries translate it as being a kind of buffalo.
