Ces documents ne sont pas signalés dans le dernier inventaire des papiers conservés à l'India Office rédigé par M. Frederick Charles DANVERS 1, mais ils sont marqués dans le rapport de 1878 de Sir George C. M. BIRDWOOD, M. D., où ils portent la cote J. — Swedish East India Company, 1732 to 1733, 1733 to 1734. La série précédente relative à la Compagnie d'Ostende ne comprend qu'un seul volume portant la cote I. — Ostenders, 1731 to 1732.
La suspension du privilège de la Compagnie d'Ostende en 1727 laissa disponibles un grand nombre de marins de nationalités différentes, particulièrement des Flamands et des Anglais.
